The Yankees took a 1-0 lead over Sonny Gray and the Red Sox after a Luis Garcia Jr. solo home run to open up the fourth inning.

The homer was out to right field but would have been a home run in 17 out of 30 ballparks.

After the home run, Spencer Jones blooped a single in front of Nate Eaton to put more pressure on Boston.

That's where the momentum stopped for New York as George Lombard Jr. struck out and Jazz Chisholm Jr. grounded into a 3-6-3 double play.

Max Fried now gets to protect a lead.
