Aroldis Chapman's Eighth Inning — ALWCS G2
Yankees 9, Red Sox 2 — END 8
It was a little late, but Chad Tracy went to closer Aroldis Chapman, down 9-2 in the bottom of the eighth. I would have thought the time to have gone to him was with the bases loaded and no outs to keep the Red Sox in the game.
Anyway, Chapman returned the Yankees in order to send this game to the ninth inning with the Yankees three outs away from sweeping the Red Sox out of New York.
