Payton Tolle's First Inning — ALWCS G1
1 min read
Payton Tolle matched Schlittler, minus a strikeout. Ben Rice lined a double after Paul Goldschmidt popped out to the left to start the game.
Tolle looked amped up in the first inning and excited to face the Yankees lineup. They, too, made him work in the first inning.
Both Heliot Ramos and Cody Bellinger were retired to strand Rice at second base.
It's going to be tough for both teams to score tonight, and the Yankees begin 0-for-2 with Runners in Scoring Position.
