Paul Blackburn's Eighth Inning — ALWCS G1
Yankees 4, Red Sox 0, Mid-8
The Yankees used Paul Blackburn for the eighth inning to bridge the game to closer David Bednar. It worked, as Blackburn allowed just a double with two outs, but got Caleb Durbin to fly out to center to end the inning.
The two-out double by Trevor Story was the first baserunner for Boston to reach second base in the game. That's dominance from Schlittler and Blackburn in the game. Really good.
