Erik Miller/Greg Weissert's Sixth Inning — ALWCS G1
Yankees 2, Red Sox 0 After 6
To start the inning against Erik Miller, Cody Bellinger chopped one off his glove for an infield single. Chad Tracy then went to Greg Weissert to get out of the jam. He got into a 3-1 count against George Lombard Jr. before Lombard Jr. chopped one back to the mound, and they were only able to get one out.
Interestingly, the Yankees allowed Ryan McMahon to hit for himself. It did not work out, as he popped out to left for the second Yankee out, and the third was Anthony Volpe also a questionable choice to let him hit, who flied out to the track.
The Yankees have had chances to increase there lead from 2-0, but can't seem to break through.
