The Red Sox were making Schlittler work, fouling off several pitches in the inning, which means they are seeing him well. That includes a baserunner after a 10-pitch at-bat by Adley Rutschman on a bloop single. Something to watch as the outing goes on.
Austin Wells also successfully challenged Schlittler's 22nd pitch of the inning to overturn the ball call and end the inning.
