Cam Schlittler/Paul Blackburn's Seventh Inning — ALWCS G1
Yankees 2, Red Sox 0, Mid-7
The Yankees allowed Cam Schlittler to come back out to start the top of the seventh inning and face Willson Contreras, Boston's best hitter. Schlittler got him to line out, and Boone rode his ace. It did not work. He allowed a single to Abreu, and that ended his night.

Paul Blackburn was the first out of the Yankees bullpen. He induced a double play off the bat of Ceddabbe Rafaela to end the inning and get the Yankees out of dodge in the inning. The path to victory becomes more clear.
