Cam Schlittler was dominant over six scoreless innings, allowing one hit and one walk and striking out 10\. The probable AL Cy Young winner has put the New York Yankees in a prime position to take Game 1 against their fiercest rivals in the Red Sox.

With 108 pitches, that is likely his outing, and he was box office, as advertised.

New York will now need to match together nine outs from their bullpen to take Game 1\. More offense would certainly help, but Boston has the best bullpen in the sport, so it won't be easy.
